We analyse the trends in inequality mortality across poverty groups at different ages over period 1996–2016 Netherlands. In addition, we examine whether these are related to unequal changes avoidable mortality, separated by preventable and treatable causes of death. find that while inequalities have decreased up 65, increased for oldest age groups.
